“Horizon for our Children”, the national organization of parents for children with blindness and vision impairment, is the only organization that cultivates children from infancy to maturity.<\/strong><\/p>\n The association is a primary and central address for parents who have taught their children’s hard-to-be at the moment of their salvation (or when they were touched during childhood) and to maturity. In these difficult moments, as well as in the ongoing coping over the years and at different periods of time, facing social, educational, medical, psychological, and emotional challenges, “horizon for our children” is a source of support, a sense of belonging, and ongoing power. The association provides an essential response to the need for information, guidance, support and representation on the ways of coping, rehabilitation and integration into society.<\/strong><\/p>\n We believe that our children are able not only to integrate into society, but also to be leading leaders and if we believe in them-they will believe in themselves and then the sky is the limit. We work to support and promote children so that they grow up to be independent adults and contribute to the company and operate a variety of programs and activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n “Horizon for our Children” is a large family for 1200 families from all their sectors, a child with blindness and visual impairment-a solidrit community, caring and an activist who encourages a connection between families and children.
