Pressure Mapping – Pressure Sore Prevention What does the service include?
1. Personal consultation for the adjustment of wheelchairs, seating systems including back and seat cushions, supports – according to the user’s needs.
2. The adjustment of the wheelchair and cushion to prevent pressure sores is done using the Well Sense system – a computerized imaging system that allows you to check the distribution of pressure in a sitting position (suitable even in cases where there is no communication or sensation).
3. Personal experience with a wide range of options – from all agents and manufacturers.
4. Professional support throughout the entire process of selecting and receiving the products (from the specification, selecting products and suppliers, suggestions for making changes for maximum adjustment, and more).
Note: The consultation is objective and independent!
Milbet was selected by the Rehabilitation Division of the Ministry of Defense to provide consulting services for adjusting wheelchairs and cushions to prevent pressure sores for disabled IDF personnel.
The activity is carried out by prior arrangement only at the Milbet Center at Tel Hashomer Hospital, during a visit by a Milbet staff member to the institutions or during a home visit.
