Haifa3D is a voluntary organization that operates and focuses on the national project “Give me a Hand” as part of the world community of e-NABLE. This project is designed for design and manufacture, a desktop 3d printer, a custom hand that is operated by the wrist or wrist. The hand is given free of charge to any child and adult in Israel that can improve the quality of his life with professional support over time.
It is important to emphasize that near the printed side there is beyond improving physical functioning, and also a very important psychological effect. From our experience and experience accumulated in the US, the “biostructural” hand improves personal feeling and social status of the child. Children who get a hand like this stop hiding the limited hand and often even bring it up deliberately, as a source of pride and uniqueness.
The Kpitz
A rehabilitation product designed for people who are immediately suffering from hoodies (spasticity) among children and adults.
The treatment that is currently present to the problem of the Kaposi’s hand is the “brace.” However, the staff is known to be a common and effective treatment. However, in cases of the need for full fixation of the hand, because of its safety, the brace prevents various hand movements and fingers.
The Chlorypitz, similar to a splint, enables the closure of a voluntary finger. However, it has many advantages over the surface, including:
